Native Connect WP is an MCP server inside WordPress, so any app that speaks MCP can connect. Apps that support it sign in with your WordPress account in one click (OAuth); the others use a connection key.

claude.ai and ChatGPT connect only to https addresses on the internet; apps on your computer (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code) also reach a local site. To try claude.ai or ChatGPT with a local site, share it through a tunnel such as Cloudflare Tunnel.
Builders
Real elements in your builder. Not a block of HTML.
Native Connect WP reads and changes pages as their builder stores them, checks every new element and setting against the builder (unknown ones are refused, with the closest matches), saves the way the builder saves and refreshes its CSS. Pages stay editable by hand.
With Pro, the AI also knows each builder’s design system — global colors, fonts, classes and variables — and its templates: headers, footers and popups. Builders that publish their own abilities for AI (Breakdance 3, Bricks 2.4, Oxygen 6.2) are reachable through those too.

It works as you
An AI app acts as the person who connected it, with that person’s WordPress permissions. Its sign-in works for Native Connect WP only, nowhere else in WordPress.
Drafts first
New pages and posts start as drafts unless you ask for them to be published.
Asks before risky actions
Risky actions are marked as such, so your AI app asks you before taking them. The dashboard chat shows an approval card.
Undo for every change
Each change is recorded in Native Connect → Activity with what it replaced, for 60 days, and Undo puts it back. What can’t be undone — a plugin update, a refund — is noted there.
Secrets stay hidden
Passwords, keys and wp-config.php’s secrets are blanked out of everything the AI reads.
Power mode is off
PHP, database and file tools (Pro) work only after an administrator switches them on — for an hour, a day or until switched off. The AI can’t switch it on.

The free version lets AI work on your site. Pro makes it good at your store, your SEO and your builder.

Your store
Products and variations, bulk price changes with a preview first, stock, orders, refunds, coupons and sales reports — through WooCommerce’s own tools, so changes can be undone. The free version has no store tools of its own.

Your builder

Questions about Native Connect WP
Do I need an AI plan of my own?
For AI apps, yes: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and the others do the thinking on your own account with them, so Native Connect WP adds no AI cost. Check that your app’s plan lets you add custom connectors (MCP). Only the optional dashboard chat uses AI credits, bought from us.
Can the AI break my site?
It can only do what the person who connected it can do in WordPress. New pages and posts are drafts unless you ask, risky actions are marked so your AI app asks you first, and every change is recorded in Native Connect → Activity with an Undo. Passwords, keys and wp-config.php’s secrets are never shown to the AI. Power mode — PHP, database and files — stays off until an administrator switches it on.
Which page builders does it work with?
Gutenberg (the block editor), Elementor and Elementor Pro (versions 3 and 4), Bricks, Breakdance and Oxygen 6. It reads and changes pages as each builder’s own elements, saves them the way the builder saves and refreshes the builder’s CSS, so pages stay editable by hand — and checks every element, setting and icon against the builder, so a mistake is caught instead of silently ignored. With Pro, it also works with each builder’s design system and templates: Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder and popups, Bricks’ theme styles and popups, Breakdance’s Global Settings and popups. Without a builder, it works with blocks.
Does it work on a local or staging site?
Yes. AI apps on the same computer — Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code — reach a local site directly. claude.ai and ChatGPT connect only to https addresses on the internet: share a local site with a tunnel (Cloudflare Tunnel, for example) and use the address it gives you.
What does the license do?
A license brings Pro’s updates and turns on the dashboard chat. AI apps you connect don’t need one. Every Native WP AI plan includes Native Connect WP Pro: activate it with the same key. If your license ends, Pro keeps working at the version you have; its updates and the chat stop.
Is Native Connect WP the same as Native WP AI?
No: they’re two products. Native WP AI is a complete website builder with its own AI agent, for building and running a site in one plugin. Native Connect WP is a separate, lighter plugin that lets the AI app you already use work on any WordPress site, with the builder it already has. They work together: every Native WP AI plan includes Native Connect WP Pro.
Do I need Native WP AI?
No. Native Connect WP works on any WordPress site, with or without a page builder. If Native WP AI is on the site too, your AI app also reaches Native WP AI’s capabilities — its builder, forms, popups, SEO, CRM, store and the rest — through the same connection.
Can I pay yearly, change plans or cancel?
Yes. Connect Pro and Connect Agency are billed monthly or yearly. Switch between them from your account (your key stays the same) and cancel anytime there; the license keeps working to the end of the period you paid for.
