White label for agencies
On the Agency plan, your clients see your product instead of Native WP AI: your name and logo in WordPress, the builder and the AI, your plugin folder and author in the Plugins list, and addresses with your name.
What your clients see#
With white label on, a client who knows WordPress sees your product, not ours:
| Where | What it shows |
|---|---|
| The admin menu, every screen, the builder and the AI assistant | Your product name and logo; the AI calls itself by your name |
| Plugins, Dashboard → Updates, Site Health | Your product name, your agency as the author, your website, your description |
| The plugin’s folder (FTP, file manager) | wp-content/plugins/your-folder-name, with no readme |
| Addresses in the browser | ?page=your-folder-name-settings, the builder at ?your-folder-name=edit, and /wp-json/your-folder-name/v1 (also in the site’s public list of APIs) |
| The live site’s page source | Stylesheets in /wp-content/uploads/your-folder-name/, and no comment naming us |
Updates arrive the usual way, already in your name: WordPress shows Your product has an update, and installs it in the same folder.
Set it up#
- Your brandIn your account, under White label, enter your product name, the folder name for wp-content/plugins (made from the name; you can change it), your agency’s name and website, a description for the Plugins list and, if you like, a square logo (PNG, JPEG or WebP under 200 KB). It applies to every website on your Agency license.
- Each client siteIn WordPress, open the plugin’s Dashboard. The White label card shows your brand once the site has checked in (choose Check now to do it at once). Choose Switch to your brand: the plugin’s folder and main file take your folder name, in place. The plugin stays active, and pages and settings stay as they are.
- Who manages the siteIn the same card, tick the administrators who manage the site (you and your team). Only they see Settings, the license and the White label card; other administrators, such as your client, don’t. Nobody ticked: every administrator manages it.
For a new client site, download your branded plugin from your account (Download under White label) and install it instead of Native WP AI.
Options#
- Hide the plugin and its updates in the Plugins list from everyone else: only the site’s managers see it there (and update it).
- In your account, each website has Show Native WP AI / Show your brand, and Turn white label off turns it off for all of them. A website changes at its next check-in (Check now does it at once).
When your plan changes#
If your Agency plan ends or you move to another plan, your websites keep the brand they have: AI and updates stop like on any ended license, and nothing switches back to our name in front of your client. You can change the brand again on the Agency plan.
What it doesn’t hide#
Someone who opens the plugin’s PHP code or the database (phpMyAdmin) can still find our internal names, such as NativeAI in the code and wp_nativeai_ tables. Renaming those would risk your sites’ data with every update.
