Turn on Analytics

Analytics is an optional feature, off until you switch it on.

1. Switch it onGo to Native AI → Settings → Features and switch on Analytics.
2. Visit your sitePublic pages now load a small tracker (5.8 KB, deferred so it never slows the page).
3. Open the reportsNative AI → Analytics appears in the menu.

Who isn’t counted#

• Administrators, by default — or everyone who’s signed in, or chosen roles. Set it in Analytics Settings → General → Who isn’t counted.
• IP addresses and ranges you list.
• Bots, crawlers, monitors, link previews, AI crawlers and automated browsers (as far as they can be recognized).
• Always: the builder, previews, draft sites, and popup and snippet tests.
• Visitors whose browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control (respected by default).

Check that it’s counting#

Because administrators aren’t counted, visiting your own site while signed in shows nothing. To check:

• Test this browser (Analytics → Settings → Advanced) marks your browser as a test browser: its visits show in Debug, and are never counted.
• Debug (administrators) lists the last 60 requests the tracker sent, whether each was counted or rejected, and why.
• Health checks the tracking script, the endpoint, the tables, the tracker on the home page, the last event received, report updates and scheduled tasks, storage and retention.
• Or open the site in a private window where you’re not signed in, and look at Real time.

Switching it off#

Switching Analytics off stops everything — no tracker, no endpoint, no scheduled work, no screens, and the AI can’t read it — but deletes nothing. Switch it on again and all your history is back. Deleting the data is a separate, deliberate step: see Analytics privacy, consent and data.
