Preview and publish

Working copy and published version#

While you work, the builder saves a working copy. The site keeps showing the last published version until you publish. Documents with unpublished changes are marked with a dot in the Page tab, and say “Unpublished changes” on the Native AI dashboard.

Preview#

Preview opens the page the way visitors will see it, with your latest saved changes. (If there are unsaved changes, save first.)

Publish#

Publish makes your changes live. Templates and Global Blocks the page uses that have their own unpublished changes are published with it, so the page never shows a half-finished header or block.

Sample content: review before you publish#

When the AI builds a page and needs a fact it doesn’t have — a testimonial, a price, a phone number, a team member — it writes realistic sample content and marks the element that holds it. Marked elements show a Sample badge in Layers, and their settings explain what to check, with Mark as reviewed.

If a page still has marked elements when you publish, the builder lists them first. Choose Review them, They’re correct, publish, or Publish anyway.

Draft sites#

While you’re editing a draft site, the top bar shows a Draft site pill and Publish becomes Go live…: a draft site goes live as a whole, from Native AI → Site.
