Short answers to the questions people ask most about Native AI.
What is Native AI, exactly?
A WordPress plugin with two halves that work together: a complete visual website builder (elements, design system, templates, menus, forms, popups, dynamic data, analytics, reports) and an AI that builds and edits with those same parts — whole sites from a description, pages, sections, and changes across the site.
Does it replace my theme?
Pages and templates you build with Native AI are rendered by Native AI, with the header and footer you make in it. Everything else keeps using your theme. See Headers, footers and your theme.
Can I use it next to another page builder?
Yes. Pages built with another builder keep working; Native AI only renders what you build with it. Try it on a staging copy of your site first.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Layouts, styles, templates, forms, popups, interactions and loops are all built visually. Code is there when you want it: custom CSS and JavaScript per page or element, and Code Snippets with safe mode.
Which AI does it use?
Claude by Anthropic by default (Claude Opus 5.5 at the time of writing). Other models can be offered too; you can pick the model for each request.
What does the AI see?
Only what each request needs — never passwords, API keys, integration secrets, form submissions or analytics about individual visitors. See What the AI sees.
Where is my site’s data?
In your WordPress database and uploads folder, on your hosting. The Native AI service handles AI requests, licenses and plugin updates; it doesn’t host your site.
Does my site need to be public for the AI to work?
No. The builder sends what each request needs, so local and password-protected sites work.
What happens if my license ends?
Your site and the builder keep working. AI requests and plugin updates need an active license.
What happens to my pages if I remove the plugin?
Pages keep their last published content. Designs, templates and settings are only deleted if you turn that on in Settings → Advanced before deleting the plugin. See Uninstall Native AI.
Can the AI write in my language?
Yes. Write requests in any language, and set Settings → AI Assistant → Content language for generated content (“Spanish”, “British English”).
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Native AI can show product data in templates and loops — price, sale badge, rating, SKU, stock, add-to-cart link — and use WooCommerce pages in display conditions. Products and orders are never changed by site generation.
Does it work with Advanced Custom Fields?
Yes. ACF fields appear in the dynamic data picker and in Query Loop filters and sorting. See Dynamic data.
Is the output good for SEO?
Pages are rendered as HTML on the server, with semantic tags and your headings — no JavaScript needed to read them. The FAQ element adds FAQ rich results. Your SEO plugin keeps managing titles and meta descriptions.
Is it accessible?
Menus and popups follow accessibility patterns (keyboard support, focus handling, ARIA), motion respects reduced-motion settings, charts include a data table for screen readers, and the AI’s checks include contrast and accessibility rules. Your content choices still matter: alt text, heading order, link text.
How much does AI cost?
Requests use credits from your plan. In our tests with Claude Opus 5.5, a builder edit used 15–122 credits (57 on average) and a whole designed page about 600. See Plans and AI credits.
